Element Responsibilities (WIP)
The Component Team is the owner of all components at Wix.
We will be heavily involved in the process of creating new elements or improving existing elements. This includes all website Editors; Editor Classic, Editor X and ADI. Our involvement will insure consistency in products and proper maintenance of libraries and systems.

Editor Environment
There are many tools when it comes to editing and customizing components on sites. The frame below indicates which areas linked to elements the component team will be involved in the product process for.

Add Panel
The add panel is a product owned by each Editor, while the Component Team is a contributor to the content displayed in the add panel.
In most cases, the element will have a presence in the add panel. It will be included in a category, will have visual representation, and display information introducing its purpose to the user.

Stage Placement
Each element should have a definition of its default size, design and location once it is added to the stage of the respective editor. These definitions should be aligned with related elements, industry standards, or best practice for using the item in our software.
